A little bit about me:
I am a founder of a charter school, having spent numerous hours helping build it. I have been a 3rd grade teacher for 8 years and a fourth grade for 1 year, however I have taught students in first through sixth grade using E.D. Hirsch's Core Knowledge curriculum. I have 3 children of my own, a 21 year old young man and 16 & 15 year old daughters. I have been married to my husband Eric for 23 years. We are from Hawaii and you will notice throughout the year that a few Hawaiian themed activites will happen and they may learn a word or two. I am a pet lover, we have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 1 fish, 1 frog, a leopard gecko, 2 bunnies, 2 parakeets and 1 lilac crowned parrot. I am an avid reader and love all kinds of books. I collect salt-n-pepper shakers from all over the world. I love to learn new things, laugh and joke around. I enjoy playing games and taking my dogs out for walks. I am so exited to be apart of the GFA family and thank you for the opportunity to teach & care about your child, I feel blessed to be their 5th grade teacher!!
